Does the app need an internet connection?
Yes. The camera preview and the frame checks run on the device, but the estimate itself is worked out on a server.
How accurate is an estimate from a photograph?
It is an estimate, not a measurement. Light, background and angle move the result more than anything else. Anything that has to hold up legally or commercially should go on a certified scale.
Can it weigh a person or an animal?
No. It is built for objects that fit in a frame on a table. It also should not be pointed at people — do not send photographs containing faces or documents.
Where is my scan history kept?
On your device. It can be cleared one entry at a time or all at once from the app settings.
Can I switch to ounces and pounds?
Yes, in the app settings. The history follows whichever units you pick.
